October 2022 : Environmental Protection – The Oil Spill Project

The world has seen an increasing frequency of large scale disasters and each of these disasters has caused enormous damages, thousands of homes destroyed and families scattered, hunger or starvation from failed crops, not to mention loss of human lives. There is growing evidence that this increase in disasters can be attributed to human activities , pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. Thus educating the very young ones is a step to make a real impact for our environment.

Resource Speaker Ms Alice Soh, Curriculum Specialist for Tzu Chi Great Love PreSchool shared on how her preschool carried out “The Oil Spill” project with their children during the Environmental Protection Week.
